Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Reservations

Free Cancellation Period

  • 48+ hours before pickup: Full refund
  • 1-48 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • Less than 1 hour: No refund

Modification Rules

  • Date/time changes: Free if made 48+ hours before pickup
  • Vehicle category changes: Subject to availability and price differences
  • Location changes: May incur additional fees
  • Multiple modifications may affect refund eligibility

2. No-Show Policy

  • 2-hour grace period after scheduled pickup time
  • No refund after grace period expires
  • Vehicle release for other rentals after grace period
  • Prepaid reservations forfeit full payment

3. Early Returns

  • Minimum rental period applies (24 hours)
  • Unused rental days refunded at 50% of daily rate
  • No refund for promotional or special rate rentals
  • Insurance and add-ons non-refundable

4. Extension Requests

  • Must be requested at least 24 hours before return time
  • Subject to vehicle availability
  • May require additional authorization on credit card
  • Current rental rates will apply to extended period

5. Special Circumstances

Force Majeure

  • Natural disasters: Full refund or rebooking
  • Severe weather conditions: Flexible rescheduling
  • Government restrictions: Case-by-case evaluation
  • Medical emergencies: Documentation required

Travel Disruptions

  • Flight delays: 2-hour grace period extended
  • Flight cancellations: Free rebooking
  • Travel restrictions: Full credit for future rental

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds processed to original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days
  • Credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles
  • Option for credit toward future rentals

7. Loyalty Program Members

  • Extended cancellation windows
  • Priority rebooking assistance
  • Additional grace period for no-shows
